The New England Lean Podcast — S2 9: Teamwork, 3P and Cardboard City with Isaac Mitchell

This week we welcome my good friend Isaac Mitchell to the show!

Isaac is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a Project Management Professional, and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. He specializes in implementing lean techniques that transform work cultures to improve processes and outcomes. He has an extensive background in training, coaching, and empowering employees in daily continuous improvement, and collaborates with all levels of the organization in a caring and compassionate way to understand the current condition and develop solutions to complex problems.

In this episode, we talk about the importance of including everyone when enacting and implementing change, and ensuring that everyone feels heard. We also talk about 3P as a Lean tool, and how underrated it is. Finally, we talk about Isaac’s latest role and how the technology his company uses in their product is furthering the adoption of Lean into healthcare.

As always – I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you get something from it! Make it a great week!
